Last year I hiked the Narrows in Zion with velcro sandals I got at Target on my feet. The water was cold as fuck but you get acclimated quickly. I would have much preferred wearing hiking shoes and wet socks though. I felt like I had no support and walking over all those rocks just beat up my feet.
