I did have some weird stuff going on shortly after, but eventually went away and I have been fine(I think) ever since. who knows. insect bites can have localised reactions regardless of lyme they say, including bullseye rash simply from saliva.

I caught it last year and a three-week treatment of antibiotics stopped all the symptoms and I've had no issues since. Obviously catching it isn't ideal but the idea of it shouldn't keep you from doing things you enjoy.

ive had 100 ticks collect between my back and backpack but never had one actually bite meits like ants nest when you drop your pack and are about to sit on it for little rest not gonna lie i strip and beat the hell out of my shirt and that pack every time because it still feels wrong to carry them with me
