>>2875724I've never been truly stuck before, but I have been in sections of cave where I could not get out under my own willpower. In particular, there was one moment where we had to go downstream from the convergence of two underground rivers. These rivers dumped all of the sediment in the cave to one location. This resulted in mud/silt that was waist deep and pretty much the consistency of quicksand. We had a four-person survey crew, and the biggest guy was already stuck, so I went out to go help. It took a third person grabbing on to me (while I was holding on to the big guy) and pulling in order to free us. t. Career Caver
