City boy here. Recently decided to learn to hunt. I knew hunting involved blood and guts, but I didn't realize you had to immediately cut out a deer's cunt/penis. That's so fucking grody. In an apocalyptic scenario where I kill a deer, is there a way to just remove meat without having to go at its junk?

The old timers I hunt with call that camp meat. Downing an animal, cut out what you want and leave the rest for nature. Of course none of us do that, we remove the gut sack, string them up and skin them out then getting them validated (commifornia) before removing any meat.

any DVD or visual representation of how to do this? I know youtube has gore rules. I saw a video on how to do a squirrel but I have no hunting buddies. I live in Indiana, there are hella deer. I want to know how to do this shit and I'm a visual learner

My mentor/ hunting dad/ old family friend who is basically my uncle gave me a book on field dressing deer off amazon. It helped me not be a total failure the first time, though I got a hog last month and accidentally sliced the tendon on one leg while skinning it. Made having a lot harder.
YouTube has plenty of information, look for Field Dressing A Deer

You're not going to learn. You're not going to go. This thread is retarded.

first at all, there are different positions to cut off a deer (laying on side, hanging heads down). I prefer the hanging method. for beginners, you might get a bar ending in two sharp hooks with a rope to pull your deer up a tree (same method works with any barn or butchering chamber), and stab trough deer back ankles to hook it up and pull. cut in front of its cake/wiener to solarplexus (better don't get the organs, only its skin) and break its chest up to the very front with secateurs or a sawing knife, and cut around the butthole and pelvis with care (not harming the "exit" for droppings and piss/cum), opening the underside of pelvis. while pulling the guts and other organs with one hand, make sure to grab its asshole and piss "hose" (English is not my mother's tongue, sry) with the other and keep it closed, when pulling out. better bring some water to clean it up (necessary if you messed up your shot and got its belly spinached), best with a lid that allows sqirting like a small hose

Gutless method. It’s a bit more wasteful so some folks frown on it. You basically just zip down the spine and skin down as far forward as you need to. Take the meat off the neck, back straps, circle around the legs, chop or pry them loose from the joint, and you got your prime cuts and quarters.
