anyone tried Vibram five finger shoes? i'm inspired by Cody from Dual Survivor but barefoot is too hardcore for me. i'll have to use mail forwarding services to get these to my country and so i wont be able to return them if they dont fit, and they look really risky to gamble on. maybe i should get Merrel shoes instead. i just want to feel the terrain more

i ordered the vivos, had to order the biggest size as usual and it came to 180 usd after referral code and shipping. i think i'd order the vibrams first if they shipped here but these seem like a more balanced option anyway. looks more normal, easier to take on and off and probably has better grip. thanks for your inputs

I had FiveFingers and they feel like my other Barefoot shoes (Wildling) you dont even really notice the seperate toes unless your Climbing. I ended up selling them.

>>2876945straps are replaceable and everything. not much to go wrong. the one thing i've found out with thing sandals though is don't oversize them because the front lip can catch on things either picking up stones or bending backward and tripping you. i only go a few mm bigger than my foot measurement like 3-5 mm despite some of them recommending 15-20 mm larger than your tracing.you don't have a heel cup or toe cap so you don't need the extra length.i blew off sandals as a meme for years but they're the real deal. cheap compared to shoes, way more durable, replace the easy wear parts, lightest weight, lowest drop, best thing you can do for your body besides barefoot.luna also sells one with tire outsoles and bedrock has some long lasting ones as well but you're looking at like 10-14 mm thick. would work better as cushioning for long distances and the extra length wouldn't be an issue with bending backwards or catching stones at easy.
