this seems retardedI can't believe it wouldn't be better to have individuals walk with their buckets, for a couple few reasons.1)No "weakest links"2)Weak links can still carry smaller buckets3)diff size buckets can be doled out to those who can handle that size4)you don't need (distance/bucket-passing distance) number of people.5)even a mild steady walk of 2.5mph seems faster than untrained retards passing buckets.6)not everyone has two good arms to pass buckets (OK, maybe not everyone has two good legs to walk)7)MAYBE it could be more efficient to pass buckets with body rotation, but seems barely and mostly not really, since people are used to walking more than passing buckets.Thots?
it was a military thing iirc, soldiers go slightly faster while also using significantly less energy. probably you are right, untrained people are mucj netter off just walking.also i hate the fact that people who try to be "helpful" and push themselves in line arent just told to fuck off even though at best they do nothing and at worst they drop all the water everywhere (obviously total buckets per minute is the same, x buckets are still being picked up and placed, the only difference is drop chance)
>>2877452Your hands are soft and it shows. Chaining stuff is way faster if you have enough people to cover the distance or at most take 1 or 2 steps between. They’re doing it wrong though. Every other person in the chain should be facing the inside of the chain that way you don’t have to twist back and forth. >SageA thread died for this retardation.
