I found these little cabins or huts out in the middle of nowhere Siberia. There are these little, what I assume, ATV trails headed to it. I followed them to a dry riverbed where they ended. The riverbed heads to a lake next to a mountain and there are no roads to it. What the fuck are these and who goes there and why?
i have no idea but im curious so bump
>>2879943I'm not familiar with Siberia but similar things exist in Alaska. People live in remote cabins. Fish and hunt to survive. I'm guessing it is the same thing.
>>2879943If it really is remote Siberia, could be remnants of work camps long gone - timber, other resources. Either forced or paid labor. There were a lot of small settlements there too that have been lost to time. It's also possible richfags helicopter/fly in there to relax in secluded nature. If you're not opposed, sauce it in the context of a larger map.It is hard to say with certainty though this is just speculation
drop coords
people live in the middle of nowhere anon, every generation has those who just goit's easier than its ever been
hunting cabins anonare you stupid?people don't live there, it's a place to camp while you are hunting in warmer weather
you don't know, meaning you're not truly /out/the deep wilds are rarely if ever checked onyou could exist forever on the fringe if you were willing to try
>>2879950It's where the small red circle is. It makes me want to look for more.
>>2880000Oh and it's not visible on google maps. Use apple maps as it has much better imagery for russia.
>>2879943what the picture source ist good quality? i have a half russian friend we talked about something similar. often its abandoned emergency huts. lost homestead and a tiny amount of uncle ted criminals that are hiding and get supplied by relatives a few time a year. just instead of bombs its vodka.on top of mountain or if it seem like a helicopter can land there it might be a radio relay we used to play this maps like game were we picked a places like 67.2047768576564, 132.136999851005this limited the zoom and try to find civilisation like with geo guesser. we would plot the route and see who got to a large town first
>>2880006you then follow "road" or look for traces like on the ice here
>>2880000are you fucking retarded
>>2880010What is your malfunction, anon?
When I get bored at work I follow the most desolate highways in Siberia to see wtf is going on up there, for the most part it just looks like northern Canada filled with logging and mining camps and truck stops but with Orthodox iconography

>>2880011>instead of posting the coordinates, lemme draw the worlds smallest red circle around 2 green pixels in the worlds largest country so that anyone trying to look for themselves has to triangulate between siberian lake #127821638712 and shitpoopovskgorodfuck you
>>2880017It has a town name in the picture. Anyone can find it with just that information and the circle. Skill issue.
>>2880019all couldve been avoided with some coordinates
>>2880020It's fun trying to find it yourself, no?
>>2880021not really, just to get a glimpse at 3 pixels of a couple abandoned work or hunting cabins
>>2880019im not gonna spend extra time because OP is retarded, I'm with the anon that's calling OP a faggot
>>2879950>>2880010>>2880032I'm bored. Im not op or any other lazy retard in this thread. Coordinates:68°29'32.77"N 139°02'04.49"EHigh res in apple maps, crap res in google.
>>2880019kill yourself retard.
>>2880060>>2880020>>2880017phone poster spotted also the target is going to be in the middle of the screen shot, so just a game or search though it is a helpfull large red circle.... >>2880034huh didn realize apple maps was so HQ
>>2879943Watch "Happy People, A Year in the Taiga"
>>2880129both apple and bing maps offer way better satellite imagery in a lot of places. also my laptop is kind of old and shit and it really struggles with google maps, it eats up a ton of ram or cpu or something. at least my desktop is fine
Found another one. Looks like a farm out in the middle of nowhere. Not even a road to it, just some very rough and elaborate tracks heading to a "main" rode. Makes you wonder how they even found this spot to make it in the first place.66.372539, 142.910323
