capillary action filter is my new best friend.
I'm barely even memeing, using a sand/charcoal filter after this is like, unnecessarily shit. if you have access to things to make a sand filter, you probably have access to an old shirt or any fabric and can make a filter, literally 20x better.

it depends on the thickness of your fabric, but not that long. a few hours. use a whole shirt or something thick so it can filter more, faster. it can get you enough water for a day, in a day, easily.
