Fair weather hikers who dont live there will glaze alaska because its 'TRU wilderness!!' ignoring that its a sunless purgatory half the year, is cloudy most the time there is sun, rains often, is mosquito hell in the nicest part of the year, and is pretty inaccessable even if you live there unless you have money for air travel
>>2880444Meh. It is true that there is a lot of Alaska that is inaccessible without a flight, but Alaska is a big place and there is also a lot of stuff that is reasonably accessible from a road if you aren't fat and capable of hiking (or in the winter, skiing) a number of miles.
