Do you go out with anyone? If so, where did you meet? I see videos pop up on Youtube, Instagram, etc. of people hanging out with friends, hiking with friends, camping with friends, hunting with friends, riding ATVs and dirt bikes with friends, etc. and I want that for myself but I don't have any friends. How do I make /out/ friends? How do I meet a /out/ girl?

When I was a kid I lived near the coast and I'd constantly just go into the forests and adjacent dunes to exist there. Sometimes foraging a bit for blackberries, rosehips and juniper mostly. My mom would dry the juniper berries and use them in stews. The rosehips made good jelly if you sieved all the itch powder hairs out. Blackberries are nice just as they are but also sometimes we'd go into the forest as a family with grandma, grandpa, uncles, aunts and cousins and we would pick many pounds of blackberries that my grandma would make into jam for everyone.Also german bunkers, remnants of the Atlantikwall. Good place to wait out some rain. Together I now go with my wife mostly. Campervan vacations were our thing. When we had our daughter our outdoorslife took a hit, though we didn't miss it too much. Next spring our daughter turns 8 and we are gonna go camping together for the first time. Excited as fuck, though age and being more sedentary might have taken a toll on the body a bit.

Since we moved into a new place, we haven't gotten to see the horses much anymore, but we’ve slowly gotten into rock climbing because there are crags nearby.I have a few friends who love the outdoors from work, and I've met others at my favorite campsite you can't reach by car. It's basically a 3 hectare meadow on a mountaintop surrounded by woods and rock formations. It's not so popular, during a season I've seen there like 8 tents max in one evening. People go there to camp. They just pitch a tent wherever they like. In the evening, they sit by the fire, drink whiskey, and sing along to a guitar. It’s a great way to meet like-minded people.My advice I can give is - stop watching YouTube and Instagram, and go out and meet people instead. It works much better if you don't want to be alone.

Also I don't know how to ask someone to do things without sounding gay and don't know how to ask a woman out. I suppose in your situation I wouldn't want to torpedo my relationship with the rest of the riding club either. Having horses would be really cool though, when I was younger I volunteered at a stable feeding and grooming horses so I picked up some farrier skills. Because of this the owner let me ride his horses but I don't think he's alive and I guess its not the same when its not your horse and your riding a different one every week, not fully bonding with them. I would like to have some land some day for chickens, sheep, horses, etc. but land around here is expensive, and I would like to leave NYS ASAP but have no destination or place I would move determined yet although I am taking suggestions as well.

I can only recommend trying a thru hike on a long trail like the Appalachian trail and Pacific Crest trail. I made friends effortlessly out there, and you have tons of exposure to single women. I met a few myself but it didn't go anywhere
