what gun should i use to shoot the armadillo that keeps digging up my sweet potatoes?
>>
>>2881534
>mosin
is this the one digging it up?
>>
>>2881534
Do you not have a .22 LR? That's ideal
>>2881538
Lmao
>>
I keep an old maul handle for critter thumping.
Do recommend.
>>
Nugget, with the surplus ammo for its AP qualities.

Mosin if ur /k/ommando
Levergat if u are /out/ American Frontiersman tier

For me its hillbilly 10/22 thatll teach the groundswirrels to not tunnel under my shed.
single shot 410 has given a perfect kill ratio but shells are just 2 expensive now
>>
>>2881534
why are you so pressed about sweet potatoes?
grow sunchokes instead
and leave the armadillo alone
>>
>>2881603
>leave the armadillo alone

>sunroot
fantastic way to have an invading monster that makes you fart your ass off
t. proud owner of a patch of sunroot

really though, thats an entirely different plant, might as well be recommending parsnips or cassava
>>
>>2881544
Assuming this is only partially a joke: How do you get close enough?
>>

nta
i once walked up to an armadillo as it was digging, shined a light in its face, took a picture, took a video, bullshitted with someone while still staring at it, then left while it was still just digging
theres also some guys i know that grew up killing them every day by walking up to them & clogging them with a stick for an easy deep fried dinner

they're very strange animals

(sweet) potato gun
>>
>>2883098
This.
>>
>>2882878
I am the asshole.
>>2882880
Is right. Just shine em.

You do know humans and the proto humans that came before have been chasing things down and beating them with sticks since before fire right?

>>
>>2883135

>>

I’m telling you dude, just beat it with a stick but west long sleeves so you don’t catch leprosy.
I don’t really know if they get chlamidia… I mean they do if you know them in a carnal fashion I guess.

Moist nugget

Burn the body in spot after, don't touch it or breathe in the smoke. Light it up and walk away. Optional rake away nearby leaves
>>
Op you trying to get rid of it or make it splatter everywhere?

Fairly certain this is overkill.
If it where me assuming your somewhere with liberal gun laws like the US I'd use a 22 LR or something like a 38 pistol on it. Anything bigger is probably overkill, shit even a crossbow is probably more appropriate.
>>
Did some research on these pests, going to be honest here if it where me I'd mag dump a pistol into the prick and be done with it.
They really have become a pest.
>>

Barrett .50
>>
