the debate that tore /out/ in half...
I’m not poor. I have a waterproof jacket with vents that allows unzipping into a parka.
>>2881866im not that often on out. What did i miss ?
>>2881889Green vs blue, which is the better color?
>>2881866The pictures you chose literally show you the different use cases.A poncho might be useful in a forest, but it would be absolutely useless on a windy mountain ridge.
>>2881866umbrella is the answer
>>2881928Had umbrella with me on hike. The lols. Then the tains came. I was dry.
>>2881928this, if it's not a storm with 40km/h winds an umbrella is superior
>>2881866Are you just generating AI slop and spamming the board now?
i live in east texas so got tired of the constant soggy backpacks. I switched to a giant dry bag and just use stuff sacks now. My clothes get soaked either way from the sweat so i don’t even bother with a poncho.i’m jealous of you southwest fags, soggy woods suck but the massive pines make up for it i guess.
>>2881866It depends on what you are doing. If you aren't going fast and it's not that cold the poncho is king. Ecwcs were great when I was in the army and I still have parts of the system. But just hanging out in the rain? That's the perfect job of the poncho. And I guess most guys on here never just hung out when it was raining.
>>2882230Because when it rains you just go insideOf course the brain dead welfare queens just sit there in it lmao
1. Don't be out in the rain.
I'm going to larp experiment with a giant felt capeline hat as an umbrella.
