■ Contest Overview
Xiaomi Korea is hosting the 'Aesthetics of Light' Photo Contest, which expresses various moments and emotions using light through photography.
Please share moments captured through your unique perspective, utilizing diverse lighting techniques such as light and shadow, backlighting, and night photography.
■ Submission Rules
- Entries must be photos taken with a Xiaomi smartphone or a Leica camera.
- For the smartphone category, only works taken with Xiaomi's flagship lineup will be accepted.
- For photos taken with a Xiaomi smartphone, only images containing the Leica watermark will be accepted.
- Entries must be original creations taken by the entrant themselves.
■ Judging Criteria
1. Interpretation and Expression of the Theme
Works that clearly interpret the contest theme and express it creatively
(e.g., contrast between light and shadow, backlighting, night photography, fireworks, etc. utilizing light)
2. Storytelling
Works that naturally convey the emotion, story, or sentiment of a moment through the photograph
3. Visual Completeness
Works with a balanced composition of visual aesthetics, such as vertical and horizontal lines, framing, and composition
4. Basic Shooting Skills
Works where basic shooting techniques, such as shake control, focus, and exposure, are stably executed
■ Prizes
• 1st Place: Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition (Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi) - Worth 1,999 Euros (Approx. 3.42 million KRW based on the exchange rate as of March 17)
• 2nd Place (3 winners): Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro and Photo Paper (20 sheets) Set - Approx. 161,900 KRW
• 3rd Place (10 winners): Department store gift certificate worth 10,000 KRW
