The camera fairy appears! She is willing to conjure a camera plus lenses of your choice... BUT all your future photos are limited to a single aspect ratio. If you try to change the ratio in any way, she WILL strangle you in your sleep.
What is your choice and what do you wish for?

4:5 is the only answer.
>>

The fairy grants your wish! You do not get a camera and all of your images from now on will be four to five.

Thank you. I already have a couple 8x10 cameras as my main camera, but I would like a pinkham and smith portrait lens for it. Thanks.

That's about 1:6.1. Have fun making portraits of basketball players with their arms stretched out over their heads I guess?

1:1 is the only sane choice.

For the fairy cam I would like an indestructible camera with a magic sensor with infinite dynamic range that can capture color without losses and be switched to B&W or specific wavelengths and ranges, both visible and invisible, with flawless autofocus that reads my mind and does what I want it to. It should also effectively and conveniently be able to do what I want it to do in all use cases. Focus bracketing, timelapse, interval, etc. It should also do my laundry and chores.

For the fairy lens I would like an indestructible magic lens that repels all unwanted filth on demand that can adjusts to whatever I want, functioning in practice as a super zoom from ultrawide to ultra long but with perfect IQ and no distortion, with tilt shifting and an infinitely configurable aperture. It should be able to add all optical properties of any currently existing and future filters on demand, losslessly, as if they were ideal versions of such filters. Also it must be capable of floating in 3 dimensional space on demand and able to carry the camera, negating the need for tripods. This lens should also cook my food for me and earn me enough passive income to live comfortably in any country on any planet I encounter.

Granted, but the camera is only 1MP because you forgot to specify.

he can't even rotate it for ultrawides because he chose this specifically

This must be the final frontier for phone users.

9:16 ... and it must capture souls. for power.

Granted, but just don't photograph any specular surfaces, like cars, windows, rain drops or eyes.

How about round, snap like it's 1888 without caring of tilted horizon or fuzzy corners.

I shoot/export exclusively in 16:9.
Every other ratio belongs in the trash.
>>
>>4512048
>Every other ratio belongs in the trash.
16:9 is literally a cope ratio for retards and engineers who rushed it before reaching the stated goal for 16:10, the Golden Ratio
>>
>>4512050
>16:10, the Golden Ratio
The golden ratio isn't 16:10 though so that's just another cope ratio.
>>
>>4512157
>The golden ratio isn't 16:10 though
It's close enough to 1618:1000, it would be silly to enforce the latter in display hardware terms
