Myself still have and use AW100, which is objectively badly aged digishit without interesting 'character' but still can go where non-tough can't.) The battery doors weren't closed properly I think, holidays were mostly near the coast and we had a camping car (which after a few weeks becomes full of sand) so when we charged it some sand probably lodged itself in the joint
