He has an extensive website covering photo gear which mainly explains his recognition, submitted his photos to many many competitions, and has been practicing actual photography (not just gear posting) for decades. In more way than one he's a more accomplished artist than most (all?) of us here. Regardless of how ugly his colors are, it looks like he did he did all of that with genuine love for photography. He will never get fine art recognition or have photobooks of his studied in art school, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't care. Thanks for reading! Ken.

He was here for the beginning of the digital era, before the saturated look was considered boomer art. So he did that without all the stigma oversaturating photo has today, and because he had success, he just kept on doing it? You also must not completely underestimate the guy, he is autistic but his black and white work shows he has some photo skills that might have helped justifying his colors as artistic choices 15-20 years ago. That seems a highly logical explanation to me, much more than color blindness.
