Any of you use an 8x10 before? Is it as cozy as it seems.

Honestly, no. 5x7 is the point where you still have portability and more lens options, 8x10 goes in the little too big, little too heavy, little too cumbersome territory. 8x10 negatives are beautiful and working with them is fun but the camera itself is honestly PITA.
>>4525774Eh but then you're insanely limited on film. Might as well go for broke and just go 4x5 and 8x10. Lens selection is not too bad for 8x10, but they do get BIG and expensive very very quickly. Process lenses are relatively inexpensive and usually cover 8x10 but they usually need an external shutter.You can also get a convertible lens and they can have 3 seperate focal lengths for the size of one.

>>4525951You can get roll of Shenguang (old Shanghai C41 emulsion) from Taobao sometimes, you just have to be lucky and patient since they don't really produce enough of it. It comes down to like 60 cents per sheet once cut which is still a steal compared to every other option.
