You strain out the silver powder and melt it into a bar. I already have a Maxxum 7000 AF and a bunch of lenses. Is it worth stepping up to this 9000 AF with the MD90 Motor Winder? I really only shoot film on vacations/trips.

First roll of fomapan 200 came out looking a bit thin at recommended parameters (6 min in fomadon LQN 1+10), edge markings included. Developer itself was fine, the roll of fomapan 100 I processed right before came out normal.That's gonna be dense enough for scanning, but would that be too thin for good darkroom prints? I plan on getting into it eventually.
Im a fool and left my unshot portra 160 film in my carry on luggage and it went through the scan because i was rushing Will the carry on scanners ruin my rolls? Anyone had this happen to them?

They were still mostly salvageable, just annoying to do so.Since it's unshot then just use it for less important stuff. Or cut the loss and toss it if you can't afford the risk.
