>>4529890fortunately i bought this in june for $40 in allentown pa 2 hours later. its a nearly new maxxum 7d, the boomer i kept it was selling it cheap because he was moving along with his minolta stuff, came with everything in pic rel. i sold the sigma 400mm f/5.6 (tons of mold, $20) and the 70-210mm f/4 ($40)i posted these pics months ago. sad about the dead 7d, im sure someone will pay me $40 for it. this one is $50 with the box. theres a bunch of mint ones for $2-300https://www.ebay.com/itm/128091819968i always shove people into the 5D for that reason, the shutters were different enough they were less likely to first black frame. there's 2 theories. first being the 7ds got it more because they were handbuilt,, the other being that the pcb is larger = more demands on power = more likely to suffer from voltage drops which the 6v ac adapter can alleviate = shutter slows down or wont work. sony's fix was to replace the shutters under warranty..so its probably a combination of the shutter + pcb.
