If it has a viewfinder, that's it. Sony loses forever. The theory that manufacturers weren't competing with sony's top sellers (7c line) because sony was their sensor supplier is basically confirmed since nikon can now get RED's sensors.Without the 7c line being the only option most people have zero reason to buy a SNOY except for all 500 pros who want the f2 zooms and tele primes.

It's probably ZR body with small changes, Z5ii internals and without viewfinder to keep cost realative the same in today's semiconductor pricing, and being a Z5ii adjacent. Real hope would be that it sells enough to warrant reviving Z7 as a compact with higher MP and a viewfinder.
