How can I recreate a photo like this solo? A huge flower field has bloomed near me and I want to recreate similar shots. I was thinking about duct taping my DSLR onto a ladder

Vintage lens. Mist filter.

The field is up at a high elevation so I'd expect a bit of a natural fog, currently spring in the southern hemisphere

With one of those IR remote thingies

or if you're a retarded hipster, quick moves

>With one of those IR remote thingies
Forgot those existed, my camera doesn't have an IR reciever but I'm sure somewhere on aliexpress theres a dongle that sticks into the wired remote part and you can use one. Camera I have is a Sony a350 currently. I was more or less wondering if using a ladder for height is retarded or doable?

They make super fucking tall stands meant for studio flashes. They can hold a tripod head and a light camera and are much more portable than a ladder.
>>
>>4536691
Sure, but I am rather broke let alone cheap currently. Also I wouldn't call my DSLR light, it is around 1-1.5 kilos with the lens
>>
>>4536690
Why would using a ladder to achieve height be retarded?

>"Daddy, why is that man climbing a ladder in an open field?"
>Ignore him, honey. He's just one of those retarded people you see on the news.

Why should the opinion of others stop anon from taking a neat photo?

>Imagine being this insecure about anything in life
How do you even get your groceries?
>>
>>4536726
A surprising amount of people have implicit fucks to give about what others think of them.
>>4536729
Ditto for people being insecure with themselves.

Guys, these are not groundbreaking facts, and anon could easily fit into either category.

Eh, not the most 'professional' thing to use let alone you can't really adjust the camera at a precise vertical angle
>>4536718
I think if people see me in a suit and sunglasses when its 25-32C they'd already think I have problems. Ladder is like the least strange thing possible. In fact the bigger issue is if I choose a farm field of lavander, sunflowers, or canola I'd probably get tresspassed

The famous Abbey Road Beatles photo was taken using a ladder. All professionals have a ladder in their camera bags.
