I swear I might be the only person making this kind of origami. I've been doing this since 5th grade after getting obsessed with Pacific Rim and making Kaijus and Jaegers out of paper. Somehow it evolved into this. I've seen other people try, but most end up wetting the paper or crumpling it too much until it gets soft and brittle. That's not how I do it.
