I thought about it, but I decided to go with the numbers from the zoom meeting screenshot since it is more specific while the account of 600 in the X post is more broad, but from the 2 you can get an impression of the situation

If we get an update soon enough we can get specifics from the 600 estimate

>>
>>535575525
It's a cop out, what they meant by asking that question was legit just what they call it when they wish to inform people what to look for, which again is proven by. what you just posted. Not that it matters since those symptoms are fucking dubious at best and shared with a bunch of other diseases.

exactly what it asks: would the medical professionals in attendance know how to handle a case arriving at the hospital they work at?
it's just a way to encourage engagement with the audience so they pay attention to the information that most likely won't be needed by them
it's a very common question to see variations of at professional presentations

that said heres something interesting from the webinar,
>needs 30 minutes and 1 meter without ppe to transmit
>previous sources said it was 15 minutes and 2 meters to transmit

so good news is that its less transmissible than we thought (?)
bad news is that super spreader events are super common and super effective. also its in saliva, urine, blood, and waste water (shit) and whatever other body fluid. along with that the time its most infective is during the prodromal and low fever symptomatic stage. (information via webinar)
>>
>>535575968

That is where it gets interesting. Rotavirus (R0=16.5) is one of the most contagious viruses out there. The effects are mainly just diarrhea, but it is also very stable outside the human body. The mode of transmission is aerosolized shit particles that get on bathroom surfaces such as door handles, sinks, etc. Anything less than stellar hygiene practices (not using a paper towel to touch bathroom surfaces or door handles after you have washed your hands) and you will get infected. You will often hear of rotavirus outbreaks in crowded public venues and I wonder if this could apply to hanta. SARS1 was documented to spread via toilets.

Yeah, the whited out drug is interesting, and Azithromycin is an antibiotic, which must mean they are concerned about infections, which can occur with prolonged illness. Also, Boris basically admits there is so much unknown. I was researching ECMO yesterday in regards to the French lady. Basically, after 2 weeks on ECMO the complications ramp up dramatically and the survival rate drops pretty rapidly.

Worth noting the Swiss patient reported symptoms May 1. He connected through Qatar/Doha three days prior (April 28), which is basically borderline the start of the infectious period.

no clue, last time we heard about it it was 490 people, 30 who disembarked, then the cruise ship, planes connected to the birdwatchers wife,
then 200 other people.
this would be another 100 people theyre tracking down, it would make sense if the people one the planes of the swiss guy are who theyre going after now.

Just pointing out, if someone with that level of other shit going on inside them manages to recover out the other side it bodes well for the rest of us provided any general modicum of good health is maintained, adding to a low inflammatory homeostasis to lower cytokine risk. Idk, trying to maintain a level head, scares thebpiss out of me.

Not considering the new zio* project already entrenched in Argentina are you? Or the *bad actors* burning the rat habitats down to both drive down land value for easy grabs AND push native species into urban areas…potentially padding the increase in hanta infection rate over the last year? What of the argies leaving the WHO, all in the same year as some *argie multinational* virologist starts a bio pharma company in Brazil while toying around with a university biolab, and was arrested for stealing samples dating back to mid February—timeline is a little conspicuous

Supposedly ribavirin isn’t too effective in HCS (usable for HFRS), but maybe because he was being monitored and they knew it was coming, it worked. Favipiravir is the patricians choice but it hasn’t technically been approved I don’t think.

Ebola might become big thing if it does escape wet jungles of Africa btw. It's only being limited due to high temps and humidity that prevents more aerosolized particles spreading. An anon on /sci/ even remarks that flu is only passed via fluids in Africa compared to north where it's more transmissible especially in winter

Wasn't I reading recently that ebola doesn't survive well in humid environments outside the body?
Which is it? Both?
>>
>>535585563
I was reading about an in vivo trial where the repurposed/reformulated Baloxavir Marboxil (aka Xofluza, an oral flu treatment) into Baloxavir Sodium. They then injected this treatment, post infection, into rats abdomens and the response was highly successful. Slashed blood viral loads, suppressed the severe symptoms of thrombocytopenia and liver destruction. Not just for ANDV, or Hantaviruses, but for all bunyaviruses. Both flu and hanta are negative ssRNA; they both function by “cap-snatching”. Baloxavir binds to these caps and inhibits the virus from landing. If it can’t land to hijack the “factories” it can’t change from RNA to mRNA and just gets swept up by the immune system.
>>
>>535586812
Yeah Congo is very humid so that might limit spread of virus. But in places like AC buildings , planes or northern hemisphere it might spread as easy as flu
>>
>>535574058
how similar is a hanta death to a pneumonia or other respiratory problem type death?
>>
>>535586857
Interesting. Wonder who has the rights to that. I know griffithsin was being trialed as a prophylactic nasal spray for hantaviruses because, iirc, its unusual polysaccharide shape causes it to envelop the virus on the way in, preventing it from attaching to cells.

>>535588462
Well the feeling like you’re drowning part is similar I guess, but I think usually what causes death in HCS is that your rekt blood vessels leak plasma, tanking BP, leading to organ shock, tachycardia and eventually VFIB.
>>
>>535588468
Iota-Carrageenan has similar properties for enveloped viruses. Gotta do some searching but you can find some of these sprays on Amazon.
>>
>>535579373
Hm interesting he didn’t get bad enough to need ECMO or dialysis. I read that the worst of the cytokine storm is 1-2 days and by that point the bug itself is basically exterminated. Then it’s just keeping blood pressure up while keeping fluids to a minimum while the body repairs.

Also a scary thought, there are only about 3000 ECMO machines in the US… and only enough qualified teams to run maybe half of those at a time.
>>
>>535589366
I’ve heard of that. Maybe pick some up. I’ve been stocking up on profi nasal spray in the meantime.

I have told you every single day to get the hell away from /pol/

I told you in 2017.
I told you in 2021.
I'm telling you again in 2026.
What you believe about the future direction the world is heading isn't important at the moment because there's a cost benefit analysis to it.
Think of it this way - if there was something to truly happen where it might look like it's really happening then you'll see it because you're autistic schizos who spend their entire life following this jewish circus. So there's no FOMO here. That hallowed Nuclear Holocaust, Micronova or Total Kike Death will never happen, you will see it long before anyone else so you can just take a long time off.
We love to shitpost and schizopost on /pol/ but this hantavirus stuff isn't a game changer nor is it some big happening. They are going to waste your time yet again with a nothingburger.
There's literally no reason at all to come to /pol/. You'll see the happenings written on the wall long before anyone so you won't miss the big circus if it were to come, you are gambling that the latest manufactured crisis will drastically change society because the vast majority of their evidences comes from shills and glowniggers themselves bragging on /x/ and /pol/, and you took the bait on these narratives because your life has no intrinsic value without the contrived jewish circus. There's no reason for globohomo to take a chance and spoil their plans.
Seriously, this is the season of goodwill so I've reverted from the usual shitposting to try and cut through the propaganda and reach those who are still holding out for hope of a happening or miracle. It's not real. You are throwing away your time and opportunity. Stop being a laughing stock. Get away from this board now and live your life, and if you see some big happening approaching then you have loads of time to enjoy your globohomo psyops here and /x/ shitposting with other anons. But you never will because you are here forever
>>
>>535575520
I quit coming to /pol/ after I realized 90% of the threads are blatant shilling of happening narratives to no end.

I was here a lot over the past three years and the happening community was a major factor in my decision to not come here anymore. Nothing-ever-happens chuds did it to an extent as well but the HAPPENINGtards are worse.
Someone could give a long drawn out and factually accurate explanation of what would have to happen for the eclipse to even kill a million people and why it was fraudulent. The post would get a dozen responses of
>IT'S HAPPENING
>when you know you know
>the micronova is coming
>the end is nigh
>keep coping faggot
>100% eoy billions will die
Or some equally long schizo post explaining numerology, using bible scripture and random posts here explaining how by the end of the day billions will fry because of the solar storm.
Here we are.
After seeing the nothingburger today I came here just to watch the seething and suicide letters. It’s beyond EOY, the grid didn't fry (fortunately), no more use cases and all the dirty laundry is out in the air now.
It’s not the End Times apocalypse, it will not be Armageddon . The world will not be descending into famine and chaos (as was obsessed over for months/years) it will be going on as usual with no major happenings or events.
I will enjoy watching happening tards burn every step along the way.
Why?
Because you fucking idiots deserve it all

Lysis Buffer: High concentrations of chaotropic salts (like guanidinium thiocyanate)

Binding Medium & Wash Buffers: Usually silica-coated magnetic beads (e.g., the MagMAX or High Pure systems)

Reverse Transcriptase (RT Enzyme): A specialized, heat-resilient enzyme (like an engineered M-MLV RT)

Taq DNA Polymerase: A "hot-start" DNA polymerase that remains completely inactive at room temperature and only wakes up when heated to ~95°C

Deoxynucleotide Triphosphates (dNTPs): The raw chemical building blocks ($dATP, $dCTP, $dGTP, $dTP)

Reaction Buffer & Co-factors: Optimized concentrations of magnesium chloride ($MgCl_2$) and potassium chloride ($KCl$). $Mg^{2+}$

>However, commercial outfits like Thermo Fisher have proactively pushed sequence-optimized variants (AP7D4WY)

Hydrolysis Probe (TaqMan): A specific third sequence that binds directly inside the amplicon zone between the two primers. It is dual-labeled with a Reporter dye (like SENPAI or HEX) on the 5' end and a Quencher dye (like TAMRA or BHQ) on the 3' end.

Absolutely no idea what most of this means but its apparently the shopping list for a more reliable pcr test

If someone not being closely tracked by the WHO comes into a random hospital with hantavirus symptoms there is a very good chance that the hospital will not think to test for hantavirus unless the person specifically says "oh by the way I was in this airport at the same time as this contagious Dutch lady"

This is why we are NOT IN THE CLEAR and this is why /HVG/ should stay up

One single person out there infected by:
>The Dutch lady
>The Swiss man
>Someone in Saint Helena (ship docked for 2 days)
>By the real patient zero (it's not confirmed to be the birdwatcher)
>Leaky isolation protocols (remember that boomer that broke quarantine regulations and WENT TO A FUCKING CROWDED BAR)
AND IT'S OGRE

We go SO FUCKING LUCKY that this was on an isolated ship and WHAT DO THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE WORLD DO WITH THAT LUCK - They throw it away by having sloppy containment and inadequate contact tracing

Remember a bunch of the isolation is at home and on the honor system. Not everyone will take it seriously
>They will sneak out to Starbucks and think wearing a mask makes it safe
>Or they will hug their kids and infect a whole school
>Or they will give an infected fork to the kitchen from their isolated bedroom
>Or they will share a bathroom with family members
>Or particles will travel through their home's HVAC
>Or the dog runs in the room and they say BAD DOG GET OUT but it's too late the dog has hantavirus on it's fur now

PICREL - the boomers on the plague bus wouldn't even keep their masks on and the head of the WHO said "The masks weren't comfortable so they kept taking them off"

Anyone have the video of the plague bus driving by like 10 people who were not wearing PPE and the doors are wide open and wafting infected air ALL OVER ALL OF THEM?

Or the many different pictures of people NOT WEARING PPE casually walking by the infected or casually waking by people fully in PPE

r0 was calculated to be 2 in the 2018 outbreak which required fairly strict containment measures to snuff out. It shot up a bit here and there because every once in a while there was a super spreader that got several people sick all at once. Health officials still don't know exactly why this happened and think that maybe every once in a while someone gets infected and they for some reason end up PACKED FULL OF VIRUS (and shed way more than most people). Lets hope no one ends up packed full of virus this time around because this time around the super spreader could be in a major city or in an international airport

We are NOT out of the woods here anons. Not yet. Not by a long shot

agreed, and while we talk about the ((elites)) alot, i personally think that this is a natural event given energy via either incompetence or pure malice. probably both.

maybe they dont want to depopulate the world, maybe they just want us to be locked down forever so that they can exsert the maximum control possible over every aspect of our lives and thought that letting the virus with a extraordinarily high mortality rate spread would achieve that.
i mean i guess we ARE scared so theres that.

The Dutch hospital was flushing the Swiss man's piss down the toilet, and since piss is potentially infectious when aerosolized by a toilet flush - they had to isolate 12 people

Hantavirus protocol breach at Dutch hospital as medics race to curb spread
https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/planes-hantavirus-cruise-passengers-land-061821124.html
>AMSTERDAM/MADRID, May 12 (Reuters) - A Dutch hospital has quarantined 12 staff members as a preventive measure after blood and urine from a hantavirus patient were handled without observing strict protocols, as medics around the world work to stop the spread of the outbreak.
>The 12 will be quarantined for six weeks, the Radboudumc hospital in the city of Nijmegen said, adding that the infection risk was very low and patient care continued uninterrupted.

If I am reading picrel correctly then as of 18-5-26, the Swiss man's saliva wasn't infectious but his urine still was (I do not know what NPS is though)

Does18-5-26 mean "May 26th at 18:00 (6pm in freedom time)"?

Retail bond traders may have that predilection; probably not the big guys. Watch for a sharp downturn in long term bond yields (10y, 30y). .
If you want to cast that aside, instead of looking at bond yields, look at swells of oom call option volume on certain stocks - for example 3M is one of the only manufacturers of the screens for ECMO machines. Medtronic is a manufacturer of machines.

There are only about 3000 of those machines in the USA and it’s the only intervention for severe HCS.

I’d still look at bond yield spreads to airlines and cruise ships, though.

>Contacts who have not presented symptoms and maintain negative PCR results during the first 28 days of hospital quarantine may continue monitoring at their residences until completing the established 42 days.

This is bad. Very bad

Many of the people that go home won't take the isolation protocols as seriously as they should and at least a few of them will pass hantavirus on to their family members who will then infect half of a school or half of an office building or half of wherever they spend their time - and then at that point THE OUTBREAK IS NOT CONTAINABLE

I keep hearing that the "Prodromal phase" is the most contagious for hantavirus. And according to picrel it looks like he got into the hospital RIGHT AS THIS PHASE ENDED. This means that the Swiss man spent THE ENTIRE PRODROMAL PHASE out there in the world. The reason hospital workers for the most part didn't get pozzed in the 2018 outbreak was because the Prodromal phase is the most contagious and patients are typically in the Acute phase by the time they are hospitalized

It looks like he spent about a week out in the world while in his most contagious period:
>April 28th - presymptomatic day - LOW likelihood he was contagious - (He connected through Qatar/Doha on this day!!!)
>April 29th - presymptomatic day - MEDIUM likelihood he was contagious
>April 30th - presymptomatic day - HIGH likelihood he was contagious
>May 1st - symptomatic day - HIGH likelihood he was contagious
>May 2nd - symptomatic day - HIGH likelihood he was contagious
>May 3rd - symptomatic day - HIGH likelihood he was contagious
>May 4th - symptomatic day - HIGH likelihood he was contagious
>May 5th - Picrel shows that the hospital seems to have started collecting his data at around 4am on May 5th - so he probably spent most of May 4th out there in the world and probably went to the hospital late that night (so I am counting hospital admission day as May 5th for the purposes of this timeline)

Anons. This seems VERY BAD. Am I missing something? Please tell me I am missing something. It seems like he spent almost an entire contagious week out there in the world and one of those days could have been spent at a major international airport and on two airplanes

>Or the *bad actors* burning the rat habitats down to both drive down land value for easy grabs AND push native species into urban areas…potentially padding the increase in hanta infection rate over the last year?

Picrel - Hanta has more than doubled in Argentina in 2026 and the year is only half over. Most of these cases are not the Andes (human to human transmissible) variant but I bet every once in a while one these cases *is* the Andes variant. We might see a totally different patient zero pop up at some point... just in time for a horde of Argentinian soccer fans to travel to the USA for the World Cup... but wait there's more!... the Argentinian horde will be using shared bathrooms once they get here

https://thebeaconnews.org/stories/2026/05/11/world-cup-low-hotel-reservations-soccer-fans-camp-around-kc
>about 100,000 will be coming just from Argentina but they will not be staying in hotels
>Camping at the World Cup isn’t anything new. Fans from around the world have been known to show up, support their team and sometimes forgo traditional accommodations
>“It is definitely pretty standard World Cup behavior,” Toni Zibert, public information officer for the Kansas City, Missouri, Parks Department, told The Beacon. “It is something that has been observed at previous World Cups — attendees will kind of camp out during the games.”
>Half of the 100,000 Argentinian soccer fans plan to just camp out will be using shared bathrooms at and around campsites and public parks
>The absurdly long incubation time on hanta means there could be WAY more infected Argentinians than the data currently shows

He works on rna viruses and has expertise on Andes virus since he has papers all way from 2009. If US govt wanted someone to ask to join on a project it would be him.

>WHO reports new hanta infection in the Netherlands among crew member of cruise ship Hondius
>The World Health Organization reports a new hantavirus infection in the Netherlands. According to the WHO, twelve cases are now known. Three people have died from the virus
>It concerns a crew member of the Dutch cruise ship Hondius. He disembarked in Tenerife, the WHO reported on Friday. The crew member has been repatriated to the Netherlands and is in quarantine
>No deaths have been reported since May 2. The outbreak was reported to the WHO on that day

A crew member. Uhh... Don't they all live basically on top of each other? If one has it they all probably have it. And the crew members all came from third world countries. Do we really trust them to follow containment protocols if they get repatriated?

International risk of secondary hantavirus clusters following MV Hondius outbreak
https://www.evmodelers.org/publication/26boxint/
https://www.evmodelers.org/publication/26boxint/26boxint.pdf

>Abstract:
>As countries monitor contacts exposed during the ongoing multinational hantavirus outbreak linked to the MV Hondius cruise ship, the current absence of additional confirmed cases remains difficult to interpret given the long incubation period of Andes virus. Contacts exposed before coordinated medical repatriation, including during commercial flights, are currently managed under markedly different isolation and follow-up protocols across countries, while uncertainty persists regarding possible pre-symptomatic transmission. Here, we estimate the probability that additional transmission clusters may still emerge under these heterogeneous response conditions, using country-specific indicators of tracing and isolation capacity from two scores of the Global Health Security Index together with transmission patterns observed in previous Andes virus outbreaks, as well as more conservative assumptions.

most crew are from the Philippines
Filipino Bros, stay safe
>>

I hope they don't get repatriated I hope they isolate the crew in Europe because the Philippines is a retarded country and it will escape containment if the crew gets sent home
