>people making under $100k a year shouldn’t pay taxes
How do I vote Bezos for President?
>>
>>535575996
I would.
>>
>>535575996
Inveting quotes to suck up to billionaires. How /pol/ has fallen
>>
>>535575996
Why are American posters so gullible for billionaire propaganda? Are you raised this way at school or something?
>>
>>535575996
You'll just get raped even harder by inflation instead.
>>
>>535575996
That's not what he said. He said African Americans making under $54,000/yr shouldnt have to pay taxes
>>
>>535575996
>How do I vote CIA for President?
good news!

Explain why this would be a bad idea.
No, "bezos is le heckin evil billionaire" is not a valid argument.
>>
Everyone missed the subtext there.
If you're not "paying taxes" you are then not a participant in the social contract and the system has no specific obligation to you.
Its classic case of unspoken context here.
Bezos says "you shouldn't pay taxes at your earnings bracket" which sounds good.
What he didn't say is you are now effectively not a participant in the social contract between government and the governed.
The next steps from that are amending voting law to tax payers only....which eventually boils down to the big tech conglomerates which then get to decide how the nation is run.
They never say what they mean, they say what they want you to hear.

>>How do I vote CIA for President?
Yep, his dad was DARPA.
Amazon is clearly a glowing data collection project.
>look at the amount of spying they are selling too
>so called "AI speakers"
>>
If you’re not literally a knuckle dragging retard you realize this is literally just a tax on white and Asian men. Conveniently, Bezos and his ilk would continue to pay little to no taxes relatively speaking. It’s the upper middle class of professionals and tradesmen, small business owners, and overtime, poor conditions laborers, who would bear the burden of paying the taxes. That’s white men. That’s Asian men. That’s it. What Bezos is proposing is literally productive white men subsidizing brown and black replacements even more than they are right now.

There are people here with the similar idea. The bar would be around 50k a year. But in that case instead of not paying taxes, you get negative taxes. As in you're paid more. Sounds good to me. Too many people are checking out of society.
>>
>>535576273
I'll bite. It incentivizes poverty. If you really wanted to eliminate poverty you would tax it out of existence.
>>
>>535576372
Very European. I like it.
>>
>>535576372
how do you tax poverty out of existence?
>>
>>535576432
I don't understand the question.
>>
>>535575996
This is already done effectively if you have a normal sized family. I make 102k salary and pay effectively zero tax after child tax credits among other things. This isn't even some clever loophole its just standard tax code.

He is stating "this thing that already happens needs to keep happening"
>>
>>535575996
Thats not what he said. Why are you on 4chan lying for a billionaire
>>
>>535575996
Trump said the exact same thing. Did you vote for him?
>>
>>535577052
>he wants the government to go away so billionaires can run amok with nothing to stand in their way.
lol
>>
>>535575996
that's fine if only people who pay taxes get to vote.
and i don't mean households. only the provider of a household gets the vote.
>>
>>535576273
he wants to make the last couple years of your life easier before you get turned into vapor by AI death squads.

>not a valid argument

yes it is. the default position is to kill all billionaires. your job is to justify a humane way to do it instead of just bouncing their skull off concrete. thats it.
>>
>>535575996
you're missing the unspoken part: wagies should accept low wages while also accepting fewer social programs to assist them because their lack of taxes won't pay for it anymore. it only sounds good if you don't really think about it.
>>
>>535576346
what he's really proposing is more conservative votes. he didn't say "tax the rich", he said, "don't tax the poor", which is a very regular economic principle. he's seen how stupid MAGA is and is appealing to their instincts.
