I'm a half African American, half Scot-Irish white trash. I hated being a mutt for my whole teenage years but when I was 20 I decided to just become Puerto Rican. I unironically began learning Spanish and got Puerto Rican flag decals for my car. Puerto Ricans are often a mulatto people which is what I am. My father is the white one which is the same for the black/white mixes of Puerto Ricans. It's nulled my identity crisis and I'm very happy about it.
