this is like the worst year to buy a new gaming PC.Buy some last gen low end stuff that no one wants. It's good enough for most pc users unless you're playing cyberpunk2077 at 4K with raytracing enabled.

I can record three dozen tracks at once on any OS and you find steam in package repos everywhere. Is it the file structure? 10 minute YT video or 5min how-to article will sort you. My 70 yo mother was set up with a basic mint install five years ago and it's been seamless.
