how are gunfags gonna react when DARPA reveals their exoskeleton power armors with ultralight bulletproof plastics which they've had for decades already?

Who cares guns are just Funko Pops for people that think the earth is flat.
>>
making bulletproof plastics isn't difficult either

>get any polymer granulate
>mix with graphite flakes (ideally graphene)
>heat granulate until it melts and compress in a hydraulic press
>>

exfoliated graphite flakes*

they are probobly going to strap their guns to the exosekelton marvel warmachine style
>>
>>535822546
Russia was showing off a knockoff of the armor from Crysis for years before they went to war with Ukraine. It never materialized and low cost drone warfare has already rendered fancy toys like this as obsolete.
America is a broke ass nation with a fancy air force paid for on a credit card, we don't have anime scifi toys outside of wasteful prototypes with impractical use cases.
>>
Sorry youre too poor to have guns I guess?
>>
>>535823530
they're not using it because this war serves only as human sacrifice and data gathering for autonomous drones
you can buy commercial exoskeltons already
think about what they're not showing you when it's so simple to make bulletproof plastics
>>
>>535823535
the guns they allow you to buy are useless against what they have

I don't buy into "they aren't showing you everything" argument. The US military has been BTFO by rice farmers and dune coons, several times over. The fancy toys don't win wars, never did.
>>
why will that make my gun less fun to shoot?

When your money is worthless and no barrels full of cash will pay for your plastic GolemGoy armor you’re left with Russian Zerg tactics which are worth as much as that paper money.

Biggest issue with power armor, and why the sarcos is now being whored off to the general consumer market, is power supply. Simply put an operational time of 5 hours isn't good enough operational time for field use. The best most practical power armor right now is the leg braces that make you able to walk and deadlift, theoretically if your upper body can keep up, up to 4x more than you normally would.

If course if they're actually lying about this, and they have elite power armor units, it's still at a severely low rate to be an issue still. Presently you should be more worried about modern battle tanks, which have filters against crude chemical agents like Molotov cocktails.

>>535823045
>DARPA
Anon, you know DARPA is primary staffed and run by white dudes, right? None of which are lefty faggots since nothing would ever get done.

There is no reason to actually innovate with regard to military technology. Anything shown off will be duct tape and cardboard carefully fashioned by an abundance of art students to appear like something. The US has no military rival and there's no pressure to advance, so everything will just stagnate into deeper corruption until collapse.
>>
>>535827514
not volumetrically it doesn't
>>
some years back i got really into the idea of like future war technology, i thought there would be like iron man suits and exoskeletons, i would watch videos about this, but none of it ever came.

Only major change in war is the whole drone thing

>>535822546
>Bullet proof plastic

War. War never changes.

Again you're underestimating modern MBT filters. Unless you're able to design a novel new Molotov cocktail that suddenly gains the viscosity of oobleck when combusted, I'd still be afraid of MBTs. As an insurgent in the USA your biggest issue wouldn't be faggot ZOGBOTS it would be the mechanized elements, and how willing the feds would be at salting the earth.

Pluronic gel looks promising, but that's in the realm of Big pharma production

And no one ever used nukes again because half the world has them and popping another off encourages everyone else to do the same thing. There were no fancy toys in the revolutionary war, it was a change to guerilla tactics over traditional combat.
America is a broke nigger trying to look hard, that's why they went a trillion bucks in the hole to end up held hostage by dune coons in a waterway. You are worshipping a god that doesn't exist.

Sorry but a limited and I mean severely limited army of powered exoskeletons isn't enough to suppress a full on rebellion. Not saying it's implausible in the future and that it won't become an issue, it just isn't the problem right now.

you obvious do, considering you decided to react to and only to my hatred, completely glossing over the fact that you're entire hypothetical scenario proves that the "gunfags" that you disparage were correct in their assumptions that gun laws were being used to curtail any defense that the populace could have against tyrannical subjugation by their government
>>
>>535830071
I hate to admit it, but gun ownership has become a way to do performative rebellion. It's essentially become a way to counter virtue signals the tyranny of the government. All while feeding into the endless void that is the consumer economy.
