A company does not need a Ceo making 500 percent more than the lowest paid employee, when the Ceo is a taker and not a maker. The laborer provides the value, the Ceo extracts it disproportionally. I worked for a defense contracting company that was start-up comprised of skilled laborers and engineers and for at least three years, we worked without foremans or middle management and not surprisingly, work still got done and on schedule.
