Thoughts on the Polish History Museum? It was initiated by the Kaczynski twins' PiS party in 2006 a month before Merkel opened the German Historical MuseumI checked out the German Historical Museum on the internet and honestly it sucks, they put effort into the architecture but programmatically it's the way museums were in Communist Poland. It's mostly just a collection of paintings and posters with a fuckton of text in a small font.Since the opening of the Warsaw Rising Museum in 2004 (another pet project, specifically of Lech Kaczynski, who was then Mayor of Warsaw, yes the one who died in 2010 in Smolensk), Poland has been a world leader in state-of-the-art, modern, interactive museums. The building of the Polish History Museum was finally completed and opened with a temporary exhibition shortly before the 2023 parliamentary election but it will only open with the permanent exhibition next year.I think it's way better. Just look at the visualizations
1,000 year old oak stretching from the beginning of Polish statehood to the presentPermanent exhibition is larger than the German one (8000m2 vs 7500m2)There will be 4,000 exhibits of which 3,600 original and 400 copies/replicas
Although Poles are slavs and slavs are subhuman, it is admirable how the Polish people have bounced back onto the world stage after getting brutally raped throughout history by everyone so many times.

The following 4 will cover the period from WW2, thru the resulting resettlements, the next exhibition is titled Poles against Communism (Solidarność), ending on the Fall of Communism
I think the design of this room is really neat
The museum will also feature a copy of Stanisław Szukalski's Eagle (of the Piast Dynasty), a famous piece from 1938 by this underrated Polish fascistic artist on the facade of a building in Katowice at Sejm Śląski Square (which will be returned to it this year after getting torn down by Germans!), way better than Arno Breker and 1000% straight unlike that German faggot. Not only that, despite being an antisemitic fascist in the 1930s, even liberal hippies in SoCal came to adore him wholeheartedly after re-discovering him in the 1970s. One of those hippies was Leonardo DiCaprio's father, who acquainted the young DiCaprio with the master. He literally redpilled and imbued with Nietzschean amor fati dozens of hippies from the SoCal underground. This experience was later documented in the 2018 documentary Struggle: The Life and Lost Art of Stanisław Szukalski by... Netflix. Unfortunately, yes, Netflix did add an iffy condemnation of his prewar antisemitism and a debate if his recanting of antisemitism post-war was sincereOf course his Eagle will be featured at the Polish History Museum without a word of condemnation :3 So based isn't it?
