for the past twenty years there's obviously been an explosion in younger people identifying as trans. What's not discussed so much is the amount of them that have other diagnoses/mental health problems. Autism and ptsd related to child sexual abuse are the most common. ITs entirely predictable that these issues will cause discomfort about your body as it goes through puberty and as your libido develops. Going from that to "ive been born in the wrong body" seems like a common overreaction.When the solution you adopted for your predicament doesnt work, can make things worse, can leave you vulnerable to prejudices, or if you end up having surgeries that cannot be reversed or hormones that cause irreversible change ........ then suicide becomes an intutive option.
