I believe the Montenegrin commandments are the solution. If we worked less and less, we would reduce savings in a way that doesn't damage us. Share prices would become sane again. The bank balance sheets would shrink, after all if the amount of deposits shrinks then the amount of credit shrinks too. Debtors would have to pay higher rates of interest; the age of negative real interest would be over. The central banks would be smaller too, they couldn't finance war circuses anymore.
