Its a novel idea but cant work in practice. Imagine a scenario where two people are looking at the tag at once. The whole system collapses already. The smarter way to enact this is simple to do it via app based shopping, which they already do. In-store prices will change based on overall supply/demand, and still be scummy. But it cannot do it per-person if the store is at all busy. Muslims also very much interfere, as another example.
