I've been trying to take Christianity more seriously lately. I've been reading a little bit of the Bible every other week.I've been trying to suppress hatred of the people who cause me unnecessary harm in life. Someone posted this OP picture earlier this morning. I've been an atheist for the most of past 15 years. I've considered deism since the Bible frequently doesn't make sense to me. I think I started taking Christianity more seriously for the first time in over a decade when I saw ai webms of Scott Adams burning. But there are different denominations that consider each other satanic. Different translations of the Bible. If your thoughts of Christianity are as simple as "be a good person, do what is right", its easy enough, but once you start reading it, it gets more difficult to take seriously but I don't want to be on the wrong side of God if I'm mistaken. Many coincidences and noticing 666's or 66's appearing in my life I interpret as secret messages from God unless that's tantamount to a Ouiji board then I guess they're from the devil. So of course you are going to see parallels between the two. Satanic ideas/symbols are just inverted from the Goodness of God. They still exist in the same plane of creation. Take the concept of "manifesting", it's a witchcraft thing where you try to manifest something into reality by meditating on it. In Christianity, this is prayer, but the difference is intent. You are praying ultimately for the will of God, while satanic manifestation comes from a place of selfishness. Same with curses/power of speech and the tongue. Curses are spoken into existence. God spoke the world into existence. We pray/praise and curse with our tongue. Sex- it's a gift from God to engage in the ultimate communion with our spouse, become one and seal a covenant.
