when a eurofag sees these it's interesting because our roads are filled with speed bumps, so yeah, our roads do be like that

the speedbumps in OP are misaligned left to right to simulate bumpy roads and unevern roads, they're not regular speedbumps
>>
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt it true that the entire point of having a speedbump is to make the driver limit their speed? Its like bragging about a car that is able to run red lights and stop signs.
>>
>>535881877
I was referring to the fact that Belgium has 3rd world roads full of potholes.
When you cross the boarder from The Netherlands to Belgium you can always tell because you go from perfectly smooth asphalt to a bumpy mess.

This tech once again is old, don’t expect it to work in mass production. Also, that Audi did a great job keeping its mass under control. Hey chinks, how does it feel knowing your country has peaked like Japan in 1996?

while I will agree that a lot of our roads are poorly maintained and have too many verkeersdrempels, it is nothing like the things you see in the video.
And like I already said: the suspension looks nice in that situation, but what does it look like if you're going 90km/h into a sharp corner?
>>
>>535880080
We had that nonsense decades ago already, it makes the car much much heavier costing much more energy with no practical uses since our roads are usually flat.

>When you cross the boarder from The Netherlands to Belgium you can always tell because you go from perfectly smooth asphalt to a bumpy mess.
apparently we spend a lot less on roads than you do:
>The Netherlands historically spent around €245,700 per km per year on its road network, compared to Belgium's €138,300 per km per year
But the median Belgian is richer than the median Dutchie... maybe the shitty roads aren't that shitty after all... haha loser.
>>
>>535879999
German cars have been trash for many years. Most European cars brands will be gone very soon.
>>
>>535879999
Here is the truth behind this tired chinkcel propaganda.
This isn't showing some superior chinese tech. This suspension system was made in the US about 20 years ago. You can find videos that are old showing this tech where cars not only stay 100% stable when running over obstacles but will just jump over obstacles like nothing.
This tech was never adopted because it's too expensive to implement on a mass scale. The tech got shelved until Chinese bought the rights to it. Then the Chinese made a few cars they used to film a few propaganda videos and then the Chinese too shelved the tech. Now they are spamming these videos here daily bragging about having bought the rights to put American tech on a few cars.
>>
>>535882926
You spend more money for the EU parliement surrounded by brothels.
>>
>>535882785
>We had that nonsense decades ago already, it makes the car much much heavier costing much more energy with no practical uses since our roads are usually flat.
and there it is... the germans have figured all this shit out many decades already. The chinks are just catching up. The only leverage they have is their cheap slave labour and deceitful marketing (which is much more severely punished in Europe btw).
Fuck that cheap chink shit. It's almost always utter shit and in hindsight you wished you had spent just a little more to get a decent European variant in stead.
>>
>>535882891
Speed bumps are there for good reasons and you shouldn't go over them with 150km/h.
>>
>>535883032
Speed bumps are here because shitskins are retards, because it make you consume more fuel and deteriorate your suspensions fasters.
>>
>>535883003
Chinese absolutely love gimmicky nonsense and they can't have enough LEDs and touchscreens in their cars.
For them all this is new and cool but Europeans are done with gimmicky stuff
>>
What you got ain't nothing new.
If they can make it affordable and reliabel, now that would be new.
The chinese luxury car market is aimed at the rear seat passenger anyway. So a soft ride is more important than whatever gay-ass shit the driver has to deal with.

>>
>>535880765
that wouldn't help with speedbumps since both tires would hit at the same time tilting the entire front or back of the car. that's why they stagger the bumps so only one tire is being lifted at a time, it would help smooth out driving over a pothole.

>>535880588
Correct. I went in one while in Russia. The owner was usually a BMW owner but couldn’t get one due to the sanctions. I can’t remember the brand but the logo looked like Lincoln’s, a little bit.
Still, I don’t trust Chink workmanship so I will wait about 25 years before I ever consider buying one. Maybe they will become world leaders in quality, like the Japanese have.

Independent suspension with fuckloads of smooth travel is for four wheel drive offroad vehicles.
If your car needs to glide right over speedbumps at 50km/h, you should try slowing down instead.

>>
>>535884661
You really think the chinks modified those German cars to have solid axles like a pickup truck?
Independent vs dependent is about the wheel raising at one end affecting the angle of the wheel on the other side (and thus it's contact patch). What you're seeing in the video is the effects of spring rebound on each side which will still happen with normal independent suspension

>>535883572
The confusion is because the diagram exaggerates.
Even with independent suspension, springs get stiffer as they compress. So both sides will still share thetension and the car will still roll.
To prevent that you would need some kind of active suspension that will react to elevation changes on the opposing side.

you dont need this, IDIOTS.
>>
>>535879999
That's because the suspension is designed tor cornering at high speed and not silly tests with bumps.
>>
>>535885487
We all know China, they made the suspensions of the other cars as hard as possible and it's a completely different system too. Should have used euro cars which use the same system which do exist.
>>
>>535879999
Checked and this does not surprise me at all. In fact, bring those cheap-assed cars with great suspension over here NAO. We still have brick roads in this neighborhood and rollover them is like riding a brick board.
>>
>>535879999
>China actually bringing back old tech
This is a good thing. Why the fuck did they not pursue this shit?
>>
>>535880080

I believe they are showing off electromagnetic suspension, which was invented in Europe decades ago. It was never widely adopted because it's insanely heavy, impossibly hard to maintain and most importantly, it's so fucking expensive it adds an extra $40-80k to the price of a car and for all this, it offers minimal actual benefit.
>>
>>535880080
I think if you were traveling at speed around a corner the Chinese car would fly off the road whilst the German cars would tilt and go around it. Chinese car is probably better suited to Chinese cities and American roads which are mainly in straight lines with traffic lights and four way stops everywhere
>>
>>535886015
>>535886022
>showing off a European invention
>minimal actual benefit
>not suited for European roads
>act as if they mogged Audi
>shill about it on /pol/ where everyone complains about the cost of living
