We are so fucking back code bros.
>>535895605Yes, but not you
Indians are cheaper than engineer and AI
>>535895605It's not too expensive. They've basically given everyone free unlimited gasoline and told them to figure out how to burn it all and now they're upset that some of them just poured it on the ground and lit it up.
Only because people are retarded with token use.
>>535895605This is the end
>>535895796>freeRetard
>>535895911free relative to the employee, not the company nigger
>>535895605Maybe firing them because of Ai was just a pretext and now theyre gonna fill it full of Indians. And fuck microshit anyways
>>535895762this. the head jeets are just stepping in to protect their drones.
>>535895984>unlimited Retard
>>535895605That's a man
Oh, wow, you're telling me that dumping nails and boards into retards' hands won't result in a nicely framed house? And you're telling me that giving retarded jeets a chatbot that copies code snippets from substack won't result in functional software?! Huh!
>>535895605Honeymoon is over.Sure there's tens, maybe hundreds of billions of investors money still propping the scam but I can see this type of headlines pretty often now:>Is AI really profitable?>When does AI starts earning enough to pay for itself (+ earn some profits)?Currently no one pays 'normal' unsupsidized cost for queries, everyone gets a steep discount and some companies even get paid to use AI to drive adoption. But sooner or later the investors starts knocking and asking for their return on investment. And let's not forget the part that each major revision still costs a fortune.Going from ChatGPT 4 to 5 required several training sessions each lasting months and costing $500M in computing costs alone. How many companies are going to paid the full price?
>>535895762ThisIn terms of costs, Whites > AI > Jeets
>spend billions in AI to save trillions>stop using it because its too expensive
>>535895605Companies are starting to compete and the need for profits takes over. They are still using ai they are just refusing to pay each other. Essentially Microsoft is forcing its people to use all Microsoft shit. No claud no whatever else.
>>535895605charge them idiots 100k to make some prompts lolers. it gets better every day.
>>535899382the whole concept of charging per token basically paying iot to "think" is so easily rigged. they jsut hard code it to maximize profit. make mistakes require users to constantly have it fix problems. those agents are a scam
>>535895605They are using AI. All indians
>>535899696Autistic Introverts
My job started using AI at the beginning of the year and it took a little over 4 months to scrape the whole thing. We bought 1 seat to do some minor work but it failed at a job on the 2nd day and the recommendation from openAI was to buy another seat whose whole job was to check the first ones work, which worked for a while till a failure again, which looped us over and over again till we had 6 AIs looking over the work of 2 AIs and still getting a 20% failure rate (with humans, pre AI that rate was 3%). Boss threw a fit when openAIs suggestion was buy another seat and the solution from the guy who suggested using AI in the first place was to hire a person to look over it.
>>535895605Why wouldn't companies just build their own local models then? Stop paying the AI jew
22 replies and its all midwit takes kek
>>535901529>nigger shows up to add the low wit remark
AI is such a fucking scam. Its professed uses vs actual uses lays it bare.
>>535895605The reason this happened at Microsoft wasn't because AI was expensive but because some retard program manager rewarded them for using the LLM, not for producing value. Trannies ruin everything. Poo thinks this is a big deal because he'll be fired for incompetence soon.
>>535901529if you understand the nature of LLMs you wouldn't use it for any engineering purposes. you can use it as text based notes for your engineering, but prompting directly to programming, 3d model, etc is absolutely pointless from an engineering perspective. it duped tons of boomers into thinking it can because a 10 line block of html can make a button. contrary to the doom about it, it's valuable for checking yourself against the hive mind or paradigms
>>535902459I just had never used it and tried it out the other day, and it was more capable than I thought. That's all. This shit is advancing fast, and doing things I thought would take it longer to do.You can say "this is just a fancy google" then a bit later "it can only do leetcode problems", then a bit later "its not good enough to replace a coder, keeps messing up", then a bit later "it still needs supervision". It's still obvious where its heading.I think there's a chance it will never actually be good enough to replace professionals, of course. But I am worried. I'm not like the retards who think it already replaced software devs or its just about to, but this is obviously a problem.
