>>535914423I have actually said that for each child a family has they get the percentage of their income tax cut so each child would cut your income tax by 7.5% so normally people pay about 30ish % in income tax, so having 2 children cuts that down to 15%, and then having a 3rd would cut it by 22.5% Thing is, in the long run it would be better for the country, because over the life time of a child they will pay more then the amount lost during the childs under 18 years.

In most places, at least half of property taxes are to support the local school system, which often doesn't even reflect the local community values. Schools need to go on a major diet and people who haven't been of child rearing age for decades have a good argument for not having an ethical obligation to the current school system.
