I like to quit while I am ahead, when it comes to media. It usually becomes fairly obvious, when a piece of media content is designed as an insult aimed at me. If I know it's going to be an insult aimed at me, I refuse to watch it. This has worked in my favor several times. I enjoyed Joker a lot, but the buzz about Joker 2 was that it was an insult aimed at me, so I've never seen that movie. I did the same thing with the end of The Boys. I haven't watched the finale, and I probably never will. The best episode was the one with Soldier Boy killing Seth Rogan and I quit the show happy right there. Always leave on a high note. Never stick around until something becomes uncool.
