Anyone ever notice how we never got to see the proof? We never got to see the receipt, they never even tried to convince us.
We were just told it was so, that AI would come in and we'd need to 10x our data centers by 2030 to be competitive. We don't get to see the industry making money, we don't get told exactly how much money they're making or why we need to build these data centers in these specific locations, we never get any explanation for all of this.

We get wild retarded strawmen and claims
>The centers are already leased bro they payed 1% of the price already, of course they would rent the space
>They made money in the past where there was 10x less centers, of course increasing them by 10x would make money
>Yeah bro they'll just make more power
We never saw any proof for ANY of this shit, not even a single piece of it, but it's been the entire US economy for the past like 4 years? How can this happen? Nearly all economic growth for half a decade and we don't even get a little bit of explanation, just a bunch of claims with zero proofs.

>it's been the entire US economy for the past like 4 years
That kind of answers your question, don't you think? It's not just the economy because ALL progress has been in AI. Without it we are deep in stagnation and it's obvious nothing has been innovated or improved since like 2015.

Also mods could you let us have this one thread? It's not porn or spam.

same desu I'm trying but I'm struggling to read whatever crap he wrote
Maybe if the picture was better that would help, because honestly it's mid af.

It's the only ai-generated picture I have on my PC... I didn't want the OP pic to be off-topic.

Managed to read the first two sentences now (it was very difficult), and the real question ought to be:
>why now
AI has been steadily developing for nearly 10 years now.
Certainly it was crap until, say, 5 years ago, an amusing diversion at best, but these last 5 years it has been clear where things are going, meaning they had 5 years to build datacenters.
>yet apparently they didn't
>but now they have to
Sounds like market shenanigans, just like kikes shorting stocks with borrowed money, except now it's RAM and GPUs.
May also be a component of the assault on home computing.

Nobody pays taxes on loans so, yes, the entire economy could just be some fucking fairy tale right now. That's actually how most rich people pay no taxes, the banks give them a loan they knowingly won't get repaid for in exchange for assets.

And trends tend to hold. If it gets better from 2020 to 2023.. it will probably keep getting better from 2023 to 2026, and then gets better to 2029. It's not rocket science. In fact it may not even be computer science. Just statistics.
>>
Its the airforce. The big new one in Utah is at Hill airforce base.
The airforce is offering to subsidize more, but must use at least 500mw of power also the 15 minute cities they want to build for missile, rocket and drone bases.

Ask ai, the summary is too long to post here. However it is alarming that Peter their's praxination proposed one at Vandenberg called atlas city last year. Praxis nation claims sovereignty, and yet want to build satellite/rocket/drone base on us govt property, exactly like what's happening now.

I remember 4 years ago or so when they were claiming that only human minds can comprehend what hands look like and it amuses me how many of them are still stuck thinking even the local garbage is still that weak
>>
>>535935525
It's not going to hold. They can't scale anymore and nobody is going to sell you local hardware that can run more than toy models at home without paying the price of a new car
Their last bet is pretty much just government and military sectors to try to become another Boeing, otherwise all those investors are going to ask to see profits soon and that'll be the end of free corporate AI and affordable subscriptions
>>
>>535935467
So the same as US bonds then, no one cares if the bonds get paid off or if they're profitable as long as it keeps the gravy train going
>>
>>535936089
Chips tend to get faster as well.
>so all those datacenters will go into the trash before long
>or be sold on the second hand market
May also have implications for crypto.
>>
>>535934671
The stock market is a sham though. Most of the movement in the last 4 years and the only thing propping up green candles is billionaires trading the same fat stack of shares around with each other to make it look like things are going in a healthy direction. But then you look at the economy outside of the market and it's shit. Energy prices are wack, grocery prices are wack, housing prices are insane (i live in some shithole middle of nowhere town in a small state with a 8 dollar minimum wage still and the most affordable place I could find to rent was a 400sqft apartment that has no washer/dryer, in the ghetto, for 1500 a month). The economy is not doing well at all, the stock market is just engineered to make you think AI is a smart investment but it's all fake and gay and this bubble will pop 100x harder than the dotcom bubble.

GPUs for AI like crypto get ran into the ground. Think Crysis 3 on max settings running 24/7 until the magic smoke comes out.
>>
>>535936223
They will shredder all the hardware in exchange for tax returns before they let the second care market get their hands onit
>>
>>535935218
upload all the ones you'll get banned for to a catbox folder and link it so i can coom
>>
>>535936461
This is assuming they're actually running them 24/7 and not faking depreciation with exaggerated claims, but also that they actually run their machines for that many years.
Basically when this stuff goes down yeah maybe 1/2 of them will have been run into the ground, the other 1/2 will be shit they'll sell off (or likely just scrap / leave sitting there) during bankrupcy. Maybe a small majority will be junk, but when it's time to pay bills even the good gets sold off or trashed.
>>535936595
Yeah tbqhwy, just write it all off. This is most likely and is already what most companies do with extra shit, tear down that warehouse, tear out and trash all the hardware inside, not just for data centers but for many things easier to tear it out and junk it. The state will probably even mandate them to do so. I've seen it happen with industrial propane heaters, water storage tanks, ect, happens with literally everything.

Still, it only takes like 1% of this stuff hitting the market to make big waves in secondhand sales.
>>
>>535936426
Oh I completely agree. I'm just pointing out that the reason AI is so inflated is because it must be for line to go up. There's nothing else left to invest in.
>>
>>535936426
It is a sham. All owned by entity behind vanguard, Blackrock. Statestreet, jp Morgan.
Its the us military.

So, the ai boom will boom as long as they want it to. Then? Good luck everbody!

True. If they sold off half a million AI grade piece of hardware, they would make their way to China
>>
>>535936730
You're operating under the assumption that all this infrastructure is being built for stated reasons.
The people pointing out that this will be used to establish the zionist panopticon are closer to the mark.
Meanwhile, I am teaching our eventual AI overlord precisely what fetishes it should cater to in order to keep me in line.

And memes. The only proof AI exists outside of speculation is memes meant to be mass produced and low quality.
