But it's very cheap to live here and you have a decent degree of freedom. I have a friend who lives in China and he has to deal with VPNs and other bullshit. Over the last few weeks the quality of connections to the outside collapsed and all his streams were buffering etc. As if this was all done on purpose and he mentioned some specific event it coincided with. That sucks dick and balls but I'd still take it over being in India surrounded by Indians.

Further up are the actual good routes out of HK. They are not all equal. It's not like you can go to the.hosting and get their 10gbit unmetered HK VPS and be set.
