Our fren Vox posted picrel on his blog today.

Apparently AI was over half of our GDP growth last year. Of course, that "growth" in AI was just the pumping of taxpayer money into it. No actual production.

Plus the AI companies are doing layoffs while other companies are cancelling their AI based projects.

I don't have investments, but I tried to warn my boomer unc to sell off all his stocks now before the bubble pops and the market corrects. Doubt he'll listen, he thinks I'm a poor failure. Didn't listen about the vaxx, even after his son got deathly sick from it. "It means it's working."

Is the bubble about to pop frens?

>da AI bubble gonna pop!!
Yeah and housing prices are going down very soon, just wait two more weeks! Haven't you learned we transitioned to a fake and gay economy around covid times?
>>
>>535984997
AI is going to be a long-term structural component of the economy, in the same way that transistors became economic linchpins after the 1950's. There are usually bust cycles during the adoption of newer technologies, but the general trend only moves one way.

>>535985106
Yeah, but it can only get so fake and so gay before it has full blown AIDS and dies.

Housing prices and rents have actually been coming down though. The bubble really did pop.

It's not a bubble, that's a democrat hoax to crash the economy and blame Trump.

They actually have gone down in florida. Significantly. Almost 10%.. I mean my whole city (Tampa) is finally full of rentals that people refuse to pay for so the prices get cut

That’s a buy signal

It is all regional. Florida is down because of insurance from hurricanes and HOA regulations after that filing cabinet for retired jews collapsed in Miami Beach.
>>
>>535984997
The stock market is at ATH. America is winning. You lost, tranny
>>
>>535987628
Filthy kike shill spamming nonsense.

The whole point is that the stock market is disconnected from the reality of the economy, inflated by an inflated industry showing signs of going bust.

Your filthy mother is a shekelwhore who did the world a disservice by shitting you out into it.

China doing open-source for 1/20th the cost and it's nearly as good ... after tech-bros pump-and-dump and crash economy we'll end up using China's AI anyway

facts: Open source software underpins almost everything in modern technology. Roughly 96% to 97% of all commercial codebases contain open source components. Industry-wide, between 70% and 90% of any given software application is made up of open source modules

They won't get built due to a shortage of material that effects all sectors of construction and manufacturing. Even with a correction the commodity producing and refining sectors are under funded as well as energy production, you should be investing in these. Even if the S&P hits circuit breakers tomorrow China is still limiting exports of key materials, there is a slow down on many ore refining due to a shortage of sulphuric acid.
>>
>>535987589
Yeah for sure. Florida is heading for a crash and you can tell but they are getting rid of property taxes hoping to kick the can

The economy, when figured out to be gay, will pretend to be trans and straight.

Burning coal is unironically primitive tech. It's a completely unjustifiable industry when nuclear exists.
>>
>>535984997
Not enough people are emotionally prepared for if AI isn't a bubble
>>
>>535992140
AI is still just a sci-fi fantasy. People are getting despondent over their future employment prospects because of marketing hype, that’s why Sam Altman is now claiming no jobs will be lost to “AI.” High probability inference machines branded as AI is marketing.
>>
>>535984997
All AI does is destroy purchasing power. Even if it does succeed how could it work? Your employees are your customers. If you wipe out a significant portion of jobs, you also wipe out consumption - which will then lead to recession and a contraction not growth. AI is a prosperity black hole.
>>
>>535991058
Can you say more? I find it hard to believe they wouldn't just cancel other construction if they really needed the materials for data centers.

>He said that, based on talks with Uber's senior engineering leaders, he realised higher token usage did not translate into a proportional increase in useful consumer features
No shit. Why are they always so retarded?
>>

>AI Bubble Popping?
yea, housing too, and banks.
Oh wait, they're too big to fail and will get bailouts.
