Why Iran don’t have sea drones? It could have fuck USA war ships if Iran have these babies
>>
>>535988838
So a glorified torpedo?
>>
They're not allowed in the sea.
>>
drones are retarded they just blow themselves up such a waste of materials
>>
>>535988838
We have an actual navy with actual guns.
>>
>>535988838
I've always wondered why they didnt make unmanned subs? The human crew of subs is it's main limitation.
>>
>>535988838
They rely on satellite communication networks Iran doesn't have access to. Like starlink.
>>
The United States will never admit any loss of a naval vessel
>>
>>535989032
How would you communicate with it? Some kind of antenna dragline it tows around on the surface?
Id imagine it would also need to be restricted to really deep waters because people I assume are needed to get through shallows because equipment would give away position.
Plus think of all the shit that needs a person to be maintained.
>>
>>535988838
they only work against 3rd world navies
>>
>>535988885
No, torpedoes are cheaper and more effective.
Sea drones are crazy expensive and super easy to blow out of the water.
>>
>>535988838
Sea mines are much more effective for area denial, like in the strait of hormuz.
>>
>>535989558
Most of the maintenance is around supporting the crews needs. And for the most part it would only need to communicate/update orders rarely so a deployed antenna should work fine. I mean the communication would be pretty much the same with or without a crew. I'm not an expert on the subject so I really don't know what modern subs have for comms. It just seemed like an interesting idea.

Counter-intelligence has been aware of China satellite hijacking capabilities since 2023, and they have their own parallel network and low-earth orbit equipment designed specifically for hijacking.
>>535989012
They haven't even unleashed drone swarms on ships yet. Laser systems are too slow. China is content with letting the US spend it's arsenal in an unwinnable war while we lose the ability to protect Taiwan and the pacific as a whole.

Former allies have already swapped to trading with China who has a parallel economy system, entirely insulated from the global market.

Our warships seem to be adequately hindered by what Iran has deployed thus far, thank you.
>>
>>535989903
Even Trump would find it challenging to spin a sunken navy ship as "le ebin winning bigly".
>>
>>535988838
Both sides use drones.

>>535988988
Drones are cheaper than a missile or torpedo.
>>
>>535988838
That's just a laundry fire.
>>
>>535988885
torpedoes cant do surveillance
you are supposed to have many of them trapping an enemy and attacking together
>>
>>535989824
>china does nothing
Literally every other country is also doing nothing.
>>
>>535988838
Ghey
>>
>>535988838
they do. they used one on a tanker. there's a vid somewhere
>>
>>535988838
they have underwater drones already
>>
>>535989720
Uh hu. Russia's entire black sea fleet has been sequestered away in a heavily defended port for 3 years now, while it also lost its flag ship, a submarine and multiple frigates to those drones (not the Moskva, that one was hit by anti-ship missiles because Russians are fucking retarded as shit).
Just yesterday Russia had three tankers bombed by drones.
>>
>>535990301
No one cares, ukie pig.
>>
>>535989558
>How would you communicate with it?
That'd be easy. Shit can work on line of sight. Not a lot of obstructions in the Gulf. Stand on top a cliff overlooking the water and you're good to go.
>>
>>535992698
My bad, I didn't realize you were talking about a sub and not the drone in OP.

they do
(pic related)
>>
>>535988988
cardboard drones are a thing now, it's literally cheaper than human life.
>>
>>535990301
i remember the submarine it was actually not over surface but drone under surface. this little rinky dinky speedboat didnt blow up the submarine. it was most likely a wire guided munition of sorts. you can find articles talking about this under water prowess attacking the submarine. UKR calls it the Sub Sea Baby. underwater drones. theres no pictures of this under surface drone
>>
>>535989991
Of course, that's why if a major American ship gets sunk they'll never admit it happened.
>>
>>535988838
>It could have fuck USA war ships
Iran doesn't actually want to kill a bunch of US sailors, that doesn't help them at all.
>>
>>535988988
what the fuck do you think a missile does retard
>>
>>535989720
> Mk48 torpedo
> 4.2 mln
> sea baby drone
> 250k
anon you are misinformed
>>
>>535988838
Shitskins are too backwards to invent star link
>>
>>535990427
russia doesn't care about losing entire black sea fleet to a nation with no navy...?
