Forty minutes later, paramedics were on the floor of her apartment trying to keep her alive.Breanne Keane was transported by ground ambulance with paramedics working on her the entire way. She did not survive transport. A medevac helicopter had been requested and was grounded due to weather.Breanne Stacy Keane was two weeks from graduating from Lehman Alternative Community School in Ithaca. She planned to attend Tompkins Cortland Community College and then the SUNY Cobleskill Canine Training and Management Program. She ran varsity track and earned a letter. She played guitar and stand-up bass in orchestra. She rescued a stray cat named Rusty. She was born in Syracuse and grew up between Syracuse and Ithaca with her father, Matt Keane.Her father told reporters she was "so carefree" and "just a beautiful, wonderful person."
