Solo parenting (with brothers and sisters/family to be fair) is the female natural state. You can observe this in matriarchies. The children doesn’t increase much though. Women having more than about 2-3 kids typically requires a more patriarchal structure.

Yes, industrialize reproduction, that is totally a good idea and not unnatural to the point where you will be punished for it one way or the other. I don't feel angry or happy about this. Article states the obvious is a nice way. They offer a few suggestions, with the goal to bridge the gap between the desired number of children women want with what they actually do. It's kind of funny that they admit some of their solutions don't actually work in Norway, and basically say that undesirable men should just be hopeful of future reproductive technologies (that they likely won't have access to) while the government should trial providing for women enough so that they can be a single mother. It's concerning that they conclude that efforts should be focused on giving more resources to women in hopes that they'll meet a desirable fertility rate. Kind of grim desu.
