The only scenario that makes sense is that he died, but we managed to recover the body. If he survived and we recovered him alive then he'd have been shown on TV long ago; if Iran had recovered him (alive or dead) then they'd have shown him (alive or dead). The only logical explanation for why he hasn't been shown is that we got his body, albeit dead. So we can't show that, obviously. But likewise, since we have it, Iran has nothing to show either. That's why we see nothing.
