What is the deal with C section vs natural birth? In western countries, I've not met anyone who's done natural birth.

C is done out of convenience and doesn't tear the vag.

I was C sected, I still have my foreskin

Neither does a normal birth if the woman actually exercises and has regular sex, that helps keep the elasticity of everything.
Also, C-sections absolutely fuck up your belly muscles and all the tissues beneath.
>>
>>536072974
Because it's painful for a woman for the first few months after the birth, anf fuck if we can have women in pain for even a split second of their life.

>if the woman actually exercises
No one has time for that anymore.

Yep, it checks out.

The women would rather not have their vagina forever destroyed.
Can you blame them?

basically this, the kids needs to eat poop particles from the mom and eat the vagina bacterias at birth

Dont do it. Dont make me say ridiculous nonsense about your particular shithole.

C-sections are bad because the pain of childbirth is a gift from God. It releases endorphins that causes the mother to trauma-bond with the child.
>>
>>536073701
Funnily enough, my wife said it wasn't THAT painful. She said she has had more pain when she broke her leg and some moments during her period.
This made me believe women are full of shit in regards to childbirth.

Weird, the impression I got from my wife’s obgyn was that c sections were to be avoided unless it was absolutely necessary because they are bad for the baby.
>>
>>536073951
the endophins blablabla released during the pain of childbirth make it so that the woman doesn't remember the pain well, it hurts but she will forget most of the memory of the pain

I work in a hospital and the vast majority of birth are natural + epidural. C sections are for at risk births. And a lot of people don't even come to the hospital anymore they just get a midwife, which honestly is better for healthy pregnancies and healthy mothers/babies
>>
>>536074058
Wife didn't even have epidural because she arrived almost at the moment of birth. She raw dogged everything.
>>

same

You can't schedule natural birth. Miss too many important meetings this way.

Get out.

natural birth is quite dangerous as far as medical procedures go. the risk isn't like massive obviously but the medical position is why take any risk at all? so the second something goes wrong they just go for c-section straight away.

my sister in law was hoping for a natural birth but the babby was small and weak so rather than risk it as soon as there was any difficulty they just c-sectioned.

and why not? why bring on pointless risks just for the sake of moralising birthing? it's dumb.
>>
>>536073108
makes sense as c-sections would be done for babies who have problems whereas natural births would only be allowed to proceed is the baby was perfectly healthy.

it's not that c-section causes sick babies, it's that sick babies cause c-section.

i mean based on the evidence you've presented it could be either but that's the point, your article proves literally nothing other than correlation. the realtionship could be the opposite direction or they could be both be caused by mysterious third factor X, or...

you should have learned all this in fucking high school science.

If you weren't born, it's not murder, but abortion.
All pilpul
>>
>>536073178
then we wouldnt do c sections, because c sections are major abdominal surgery with an enormous incision that takes 6 weeks to heal.
>>
>>536072974
i was born a natural birth, breach too with one of my arms behind my head
killed my mother in the process
that's probably why they go c section these days
or water birth
don't know much about water birth though
>>
>>536077701
our second was in one of those birthing pools and went really well. i think the added warmth plus it being easier to get up and walk around when they want makes it all a bit easier and, in our case, a lot quicker than the first.

correlation != causation
Older mothers are more like to have C-sections, and older mothers are more like to produce messed up kids.
