I use to fix my own car including maintenance and upgrading from the ages 16-28 (im 35 now) that was on a 2002 5 speed corolla when I could take the entire engine out and in within half a day. Now I have a Lexus that you have to take half the front end off just to fix a simple part. I dont have the time for it

Buy a PC in 1997.
Oh no my GPU is weak let me buy some more EDO RAM for it.
Oh you wanna play MPEG video with hardware? No problem buy a MPEG add on card.
You wanna buy a TV tuner and connect that too no problem the LPB interface is there.

You wanna change the fucking cooler on the GPU in 2026. Sorry warranty voided, can't edit ram, can't touch the card because you need to manufacture a custom bios to support any edits.

And this is just fucking GPUs.
Everything is locked down tighter then fucking fort nox.
