>>536113261i'll explain if you'd like.there's a certain level of balance that needs to be upheld between corruption and honest work.the balance was shifted in the 80s.40 years on and the honest workers are now sand instead of solid rock.you cannot build a house on sand.the world is sinking.america will not allow itself to die.we will launch.you think the samson option is crazy, wait until you learn about protocol omega."if it can't be ours, it can't be."that's the patch.that's the mission statement.and we don't have to worry about people launching, the ai will do it for us since we're replacing the people with ai in 2032.asia will lose 98% of it's population by then.europe (london) will become the caliphate.america will be a fucking gangland with an insane underground military ran by datacenters.we're cooked.

>>536111378Yeah they're totally going to leave $500k of electronics in a little box outside
>>536112905>What is a data centerThey are just large facilities designed to house computers and the associated infrastructure like networking and power. It's basically just a big warehouse filled with server racks with power and network cables connecting them. Tech companies will then rent rack space and install their own servers, or rent space on servers owned/rented by someone else, or just own the entire facility if it is a large enough company. Then they remotely connect to the server in the datacenter and use it like any other computer.>why are so many of them being builtBecause there is a massive amount of demand for them and the services and infrastructure they provide. Note: this is not some sudden new thing, datacenters have existed and been common and normal for 50+ years. >and what do they provide?Pretty much everything on the internet or using the internet in any way involves some kind of software running on a server in a datacenter somewhere. Almost every website, every online program or application, anything you stream or download, everything in the cloud is happening on servers in datacenters.By putting the server in a datacenter, it's out of the way and has a pretty much guaranteed 100% reliable connection to power and the internet, without you having to deal with it. Also, your server has a very short, very fast network connection to lots of other servers that are also in the datacenter, so that can potentially speed things up depending on what you are doing.
>>536113480>wait until you learn about protocol omega.so I just looked this up and it's just the samson option in mostly anime and other fictioninstead of arguing I'm just going to hope you're right

>>536110989>you will sign up for the 50-year mortgage and you will install the data center in your backyard goyYou aren't helping yourself or our race by acting like a defeated loser. Do you have a victim mentality because you've been a failure for your whole life?
>>536111378Can I use them to power my pc?
>>536113178Your house has an upper limit of much electricity can feed it. The average existing house is between 100 and 200 whatever unit (mega watt hours or something? Im not a sparky). Newer upper end homes are being given electrical boxes and lines for 400 electricity due to increased uses for electricity like EVs. That said in reality you dont use most of this. Like I said many older homes still only have 100 and operate everything you would expect a modern house to have. So the proposal, which is actually very smart, is that if your new construction house has a 400 electricity unit service, and you are only using 150 of it at any given time, you have copper just sitting there going cold that could support 250 more at any given time. So rather than spending hundreds of millions on a large data center with more copper, why not just as homeowners to allow the data center to be built piecemeal and just use the leftover capacity they dont. With the double benefit that now there is no single million square feet data center that everyone protects, and if disaster strikes, the AI brain is spread out and wont all be damaged in one swoop. The risk is of course niggers damaging it for fear of the tech, people stealing the copper, and people stealing the GPU components for other uses. If we lived in a civil world the payment for using your electrical capacity is that they would pay you for it. The reality is these data centers should all be forced to pay the electricity for the entire residential area they are in and serve. If Google said hey we will pay your entire electrical bill if we can use whatever capacity you have leftover, its kind of a no-brainer in my opinion. But in reality this is likley only going to line the pockets of the developer and dumb and desperate homebuyers will buy them anyway. Just like the absolute retards who "leased" solar panels on their new homes.

>>536116818Have you read anything about it that's not from schizos and brownoids on x and /pol/ fantasizing about ripping up infrastructure? Because no where is that not implied. How did you imagine it would work?>White Paper: Homeowners receive a SPAN smart panel and whole-home energy storage installed at zero cost, improving household resilience during outages and adding a modern energy management foundation. XFRA is designed so household energy use is not compromised, and homeowners benefit from a predictable and improved monthly value proposition that will include bundled services and host compensation.>Press coverage: So what does this mean for people who sign up to live in homes with attached data center nodes? SPAN would take on responsibility for paying the electricity and Internet bills for each household while offering residents either a flat utility fee—the company floated the example of a $150 fee—or possibly no fee at all, according to Realtor.com. The company is also still working out the specifics of household Internet service plans.>More press coverage: Homeowners who install the units pay nothing for the hardware, pay a flat fee for power and Wi-Fi and earn compensation based on how much compute and energy the network uses. Span hopes to eventually scale the network to more than one gigawatt of capacity.
