>The American Meteor Society confirmed that the booms heard about 2:30 p.m. were caused by a meteor about 3 feet wide entering the atmosphere around the New Hampshire border with Massachusetts, north of Boston.
>NASA confirmed there was a fireball over New England at 2:06 p.m. Initial information put the fireball’s speed at roughly 75,000 mph, and it appears to have fragmented at an altitude of 40 miles above extreme northeast Massachusetts/southeast New Hampshire
>The energy released at breakup is estimated to be equivalent to about 300 tons of TNT, which accounts for the loud booms.
>Fire program monitor Robert Lunsford said the society received dozens of reports from Delaware to Montreal

>3 foot meteor, at 75k MPH
>fragmented
>had PE of 300 tons of TNT
>exploded 40 miles above ground

a meteor that large falls down onto the Earth almost every day with no noticeable sound or impact, most burn up upon entry anyhow.

>so how does a meteor that large make a loud enough boom to be heard from Montreal to Delware

it doesn't because that would require the meteor to be nearly 75-100m in diameter holding atleast 150 megatons of TNT, such as the meteors that exploded over Chelyabinsk and Tunguska which both exploded at a high altitude and caused damages to the surrounding areas

>no videos yet of where the "explosion" took place, despite weather observatories on the coast almost always have CCTV running at all times
>this just so happened on a low-visible day in the atlantic region with rain and clouds
>no further news has been released on this subject and seems to be pushed aside

what are they hiding? do we just not have the right info?

They're hiding where you truly live and what you are. The info is Freemason Science.

Whenever you see someone bring up the freemasons on 4chan, know there's a 99% chance you're about to see the most retarded takes imaginable. "The earth is flat" tier conspiracies that are pushed out by the CIA to discredit factual conspiracies

are we at the bottom of an unfathomable ocean?

What could it possibly be? Like what are the schizo theories even? Alien attack? Demons? Foreign nation? US weapon test? Beginning of a massive meteor shower? Operation Blue Beam?

>space battle
>meteor field of doom
apparently we cross the Arietid meteor stream in late May and early June

You may want to study Newton's Laws some time, and maybe some basic chemistry.
There are two main reasons a meteor might impact the earth surface intact (instead of minor fragments):
>it's slow
>it's metal
33km/s isn't slow, and per Newton: Energy = Mass x Speed.

If a meteor is full of ices it will obviously explode and leave only minor rocky remnants dropping at free-fall speeds, and this is the case with most.
A metal meteor above a certain size, and depending on its speed, will not evaporate and especially not explode.

if it was a foreign agent it would be some sort of kinetic orbital weapon, I doubt aliens care about hurling rocks
