It's just that there's a massive historic amnesia going on with what happened between 1950 and 2010. Interestingly, Nazi Germany lifted Greece from its heavy debt load immediately after the occupation started. Reason is that Greece was founded on debt and this debt was helt in London. This was a rather nasty story as it amounted to effective slavery, but nobody is talking about it, because the enslavement was done by the wrong actors.
