Based OPWe raise chickens, but for eggs onlyI love raising pigs. We do a duroc yorkshire mix. put weight on crazy fast. ~6 months and females are 240lb males as high as 275lb. We target for 250lb. I don't slaughter them any more, it is too affordable to just take them to be processed. We raise cows too, grass/hay fed finished on grain. Pure grass fed sucks ass and my mind can't be changed.We do clean and process all wild kills with the exception of paid hunts. I always made my son work the cleaning shed on the paid hunts, but they do all of the processing side of it.Oh, got a stocked pond for catfish and bream. A few random bass are in there too somehow. We fish the rivers and bays in one boat and run offshore in another.We give a lot of food to friends and family. I'd say most of it goes to them. I've had people try to pay us to raise animals for them, but I don't want any part of that.tl;dr no lack of food at my house
